About the Scholarship

The Evansville Alumnae Chapter is committed to helping young people succeed academically. This includes ensuring that students have access to the financial resources they need to obtain a college education. The MOR Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in the Evansville area who seek full-time education in a college or university.

The Scholarship Program has been in existence since 1978, and in 2018 for the chapter's 40th anniversary, it was renamed from the Betty Craig Memorial Scholarship to the McCormick/Outlaw/Roberts (MOR) Scholarship in honor of 3 of Evansville Alumnae Chapter's Charter members, who are still vibrant, valued members of our chapter.

In past years, the chapter has awarded as much as $10,000 in scholarships. Scholarships have been awarded to students with the greatest need and who have demonstrated a significant level of academic excellence, community service, and leadership skills, as they pursue a goal of higher education.
